How can core personnel request services on behalf of a user?

STEP 1: Access your core facility.

After you login to iLab, you may click on the my cores link in the left navigation to access a list of your core facility memberships.  Click on the core name you want to access.   

The core’s home page displays. (Figure 1)

STEP 2: Click on the Request Services tab. (Figure 2)

STEP 3: Select your equipment and click Initiate Request. (Figure 3)

STEP 4: Select the user.

Enter the name of the person for which you wish to make the request and then click the Proceed button. (Figure 4)

STEP 5: Complete the form.

Complete the form and click submit form to researcher. (Figure 5)

Once the request is submitted, the View All Requests tab should open to display the new request. The status of the request will typically be Waiting for Researcher Approval indicating that the request owner needs to review the request to approve the proposed work and projected cost. (Figure 6)
