How do I approve a new request?

STEP 1: Login to iLab and open the request.

To open the request, click on the request name. (Figure 1)

A new window opens.

STEP 2: Click on the blue arrow next to the date to expand the details. (Figure 2)

STEP 3: Click Agree.

Once you have reviewed the information and are satisfied, click the Agree button. (Figure 3)

STEP 4: Enter the projected cost and quote information.

Once the cost window opens you may: (Figure 4) 

  1. Update the projected cost if needed.

  2. Enter the expiration date of the quote.

  3. Include the pdf quote in the notification email and select to include on the pdf.
  • service description
  • custom form elements
  • line item charges
  • milestones
  • notes
  • a custom footer

     4.  View or update payment notes.

     5.  Edit the service request summary.

STEP 5: Click Submit.

The status of the request is now changed to Waiting for researcher to approve. This means the request owner can now review any changes and the projected cost and approve the work. (Figure 5) 

Figure 5:When you click submit, the status of the request will change to Waiting for Researcher to Agree.

If you wish to approve without viewing the details of the request, you may click the Agree button from your home page. (Figure 6)
