How do i enter time in time entry?
For the current week:
STEP 1: Access Time Entry.
From the core’s homepage, click the Time Entry tab. (Figure 1)
The Time Entry tool displays.
STEP 2: Select the appropriate staff member.
Select the staff member for whom you would like to enter time. (Figure 2)
The user’s timesheet displays all time entered for this member by Request ID.
STEP 3: Enter the time.
You may enter time in two ways (Figure 3):
Plus/minus signs or up/down arrows: Use the plus/minus signs to populate time in 15 minute increments.
- Direct entry: Enter your hours directly by putting your cursor in the box and typing your hours (in 15 minute increments).
STEP 4: Save your changes.
Click on Apply Changes to save your time. (Figure 4)
To enter time for previous or future weeks:
STEP 1: Click on the left or right arrow next to the week. (Figure 5)
Time can be entered into a prior week up until Tuesday evening of the current week
- Time can be entered into future weeks up 12 weeks in advance.
