how do I view a list of submitted protocols?
The Protocol List View contains several table columns and filter options specific for protocol management. (Figure 1)
Protocol Title: formal title of the protocol. This is also hyperlinked and when clicked, will take an administrator to the iLab protocol entry.
ID: the protocol ID number. Typically this will come from the institution’s protocol management system.
PI: Principal Investigator of the protocol.
Expiration Date: expiration date of the protocol. In addition, there are some visual color cues that lets an administrator quickly see which protocols are due to expire within the next two weeks (date is colored orange) and which protocols have expired (date is colored red).
Status: indicates whether the protocol is Active (has not expired and can be selected on service requests), Expired (past its expiration date), or in a Draft state (indicates a partially completed protocol entry).
Template: Indicates which template was used to create the protocol.
Approval Status: This column will only be visible if external users are allowed to submit protocol requests. There are different approval statuses depending on whether the protocol entry is an internal or external protocol:
If it is an internal protocol, a status of No Approval Needed will be displayed.
If an external user has submitted a protocol request that is waiting for review by the protocol administrator, it will have a status of Requires Approval.
If an external user has submitted a protocol request that has been approved, it will have a status of Approved.
If an external user has submitted a protocol request that has been rejected, it will have a status of Rejected.
You may also filter your Protocol results by using the filter options on the left side of your screen. (Figure 2)
